GENERAL</span></b></p>

of its sponsoring organization, the Alum Creek Church of Christ, Lewis Cent=

OH, the by-laws of the Boy Scouts of America, and the following policies:</=

SCOUTS</span></b></p>

who wish to participate in Council, District, Pack, and Den activities, must
have a completed application on file with the Pack, signed by the Cubmaster,
and all registration fees current.&nbsp; Applications must include current
health/immunization history.</span></p>

<p><b><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>SECTION 2 - </span></b><span
style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Boys who have advanced to the first grade in sc=
hool
will be placed in a Tiger Cub Den.</span></p>

<p><b><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>SECTION 3 - </span></b><span
style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Boys who have advanced to the second grade in s=
chool
will be placed in a Wolf Den.</span></p>

style=3D'font-family:Arial'>The Cub Scout program includes the Bobcat
requirements and a plan of advancement through four ranks:</span></p>

style=3D'font-family:Arial'>A boy&#8217;s first step after registering as a=
 Cub
Scout, regardless of age, is to pass the Bobcat requirements (except for Ti=
ger
Cubs).</span></p>

<p><b><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>SECTION 3 - </span></b><span
style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Cub Scouts fill requirements for achievement and
electives while a Wolf or a Bear.&nbsp; This is primarily done at home under
the guidance of parents <span class=3DGramE>an</span> guardians and checked=
 by
the Den Leaders.</span></p>

<p><b><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>SECTION 4 - </span></b><span
style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Webelos Scouts work on activity badges, earn the
Webelos award, and then earn Cub Scouting&#8217;s highest award, the Arrow =
of
Light.</span></p>

<p><b><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>SECTION 5 - </span></b><span
style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Upon advancement of a Cub Scout within the Pack=
, when
certified by the appropriate Den Leader, Cubmaster, and/or Awards Chairman,=

application and approval of the Pack Committee, the member must also be
approved by the Chartered Organization Representative on behalf of the Alum
Creek Church of Christ, Lewis Center, OH.&nbsp; Members of the chartered
organization are encouraged to become an adult leader.</span></p>

<p><b><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>SECTION 2 - </span></b><span
style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Every family who meets the above <span class=3D=
GramE>criteria,</span>
is encouraged to perform in at least one of the Pack leadership positions or
serve on a committee.</span></p>

Pack&#8217;s Charter.&nbsp; By signing the BSA Leadership Application, the
leader acknowledges his/her commitment to the duties required of that
particular position and will endeavor to &#8220;Do their best&#8221; to ful=

these requirements for the full duration of the Charter.</span></p>

style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Upon joining the Pack and being accepted, a boy=

be required to have his uniform by the second Pack meeting unless other
arrangements have been discussed with the Cubmaster.&nbsp; It is the
responsibility of the Scout to obtain the full uniform.&nbsp;&nbsp; Cub Sco=
uts
already in the Pack, who are advancing in rank, will be provided with the
neckerchief of their new rank by the Pack at the Graduation ceremony.</span=

<p><b><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>SECTION 2 - </span></b><span
style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Tiger Cub Dens will wear the colored T-shirts w=
ith
the Tiger Cub emblem on the front of the shirt.&nbsp; The Tiger Cub colors =

orange T-shirts (other colors added if needed), along with blue
jeans.&nbsp;&nbsp; The blue Tiger Cub Scout web belt is worn.&nbsp;&nbsp; T=

Cubs shall wear the Tiger Cub Cap outdoors.&nbsp;&nbsp; Any neat shoes, boo=
ts,
or tennis shoes may be worn.</span></p>

<p><b><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>SECTION 3 - </span></b><span
style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Cub Scout uniforms for the Pack will consist of=
 a Cub
Scout shirt, neckerchief, slide, cap, Cub Scout trousers, belt and
socks.&nbsp;&nbsp; The Wolf Cubs shall wear the Gold and Blue Wolf Cub
neckerchief.&nbsp;&nbsp; The Bear Cubs shall wear the Light Blue and Navy B=
ear
Cub neckerchief.&nbsp;&nbsp; Due to the costs of a uniform, dark trousers (=
blue
jeans are acceptable), and dark socks may be worn until the full uniform is
purchased.&nbsp;&nbsp; All Cub Scouts are required to have a full uniform no

leaders), blue shoulder loops and the Cub Scouting bolo tie.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Headgear for the men shall be the Boy Scout Expedition Hat.&nbsp;&nbsp; Wom=

are not required to wear headgear.&nbsp;&nbsp; Deviations from this standard
will be determined by the Cubmaster or the Committee Chairman and will be

All leaders are required to obtain the upper half (shirt with emblems and
insignias appropriately affixed) of their uniform within two weeks of signi=

etc., should be purchased as soon as possible, but must be obtained no later

Arial'>First offense: Scout will be counseled by the Den Leader/Cubmaster a=

Den Leader/Cubmaster will speak to parent(s). Parent(s) will be asked that =

boy be removed from the activity.<b><br>
b. </b>Second offense: Will result in the Pack Committee ruling on probation
for thirty (30) days from all Scouting functions. Parents will be notified =
of
this in writing. This writing will incorporate the limitations discussed in=
 the
next paragraph, explaining the Scout&#8217;s boundaries in order to prevent
future infractions.<b><br>
c. </b>Third offense: Scout will be automatically suspended for sixty (60) =
days
or until the problem can be resolved with the Cubmaster, Committee Chairman,
Charter Representative, Den Leader, and parents. This suspension should have
been explained to the Scout and his family in the written notification given
out in the second offense and should be of no surprise to the parent or
guardian. A Pack Committee ruling is not necessary for this suspension sinc=
e it
is automatic and based on the good judgment of Scout Leadership.&nbsp; Upon
completion of the suspension, the parents will attend the next available
Committee meeting to discuss the problem and determine whether or not the S=
cout
will be placed on inactive status.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><b><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>SECTION 3 - </span></b><span
style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Any <span class=3DGramE>Scout</span> who has be=
en
placed on the inactive role for conduct reasons, will not be refunded any
portion of his enrollment fees.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp;
</span>Application for reinstatement may be considered by the Committee at a
later date, if the Scout has shown an improvement in his behavior and still
wants to be in the Scouting program. </span></p>

<p><b><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>SECTION 4 - </span></b><span
style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Discipline problems for leaders will be dealt w=
ith on
an individual basis by the Charter Representative, the Committee Chairman, =
or
the Cubmaster, depending on the nature of the offense and the position of t=
he

teps
will be taken to remove the leader from a potentially harmful situation.<sp=

meetings will be under the guidance of registered and trained Den
Leaders.&nbsp; If Den Leaders cannot hold their meeting, and the meeting ca=

be rescheduled, it will be the responsibility of the parents to conduct the=
 Den
meeting.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>If a Den is without a
Registered Leader, the parents will have to conduct the meetings until a new
Leader can be registered and trained.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp;
</span>If the parents will not agree to this, the Den may have to be disban=
ded.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>If a Den meeting is rescheduled or
cancelled, the Den Leader will notify the Cubmaster, Committee Chairman, and
all the parents of the Scouts in the Den.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&=

</span>With the exception of Tiger Cubs, parents are not required to attend=
 Den

given to the Chartering Organization in the month following re-chartering,
giving the status of Pack membership, activities and finances.&nbsp; The sa=

Organized fundraisers shall be conducted from the District, the Council and=

Pack itself.&nbsp;&nbsp; All Scouts are required to participate with the
encouragement of their parents.&nbsp;&nbsp; Each fundraising function will =
have
a minimum sales expectation set (usually $100.00)&nbsp; Scouts who do not
participate in fundraising efforts will not be entitled to any awards or
re-registration fees that would normally be purchased by the Pack (see Sect=
ion
8, paragraph b above).&nbsp; Any goods, items or services which are sold by=
 a
member of the Pack, become that member&#8217;s responsibility.&nbsp; <span
class=3DGramE>From the sale, to the delivery of the goods, items or service=
s, to
the collection for the named merchandise.</span>&nbsp;&nbsp; In the unfortu=
nate
event that monies collected by a member for fundraising are not turned into=
 the
Pack Treasurer, Pack 844 has a Zero Tolerance Policy (see Article 9, Sectio=

regarding theft.&nbsp;&nbsp; If it is determined that a Scout, a parent or
guardian, or a Leader has stolen or misused money or equipment that belongs=
 to
the Pack, they shall be dismissed from the ranks of the Pack.&nbsp;&nbsp;

meeting, provided a copy of the proposed amendment or omission is submitted=

require immediate amendment to these by-laws, an emergency meeting of the P=
